It seems that during this economic downturn there are few industries spared from the hurt. This includes the photographic industry which has been coming out of the throws of a digital upheaval as well.

It seems that anyone with a digital camera can call themselves a photographer, and many will sell their images for pennies a piece. This flooding of the marketplace with cheap photos is a serious concern for many photographers out there with a studio to support, mouths to feed, and gear to maintain. Some feel that what was once a lucrative industry is now reeling out of control to the doom of all those that rely on it. Read more…

Get out and see something.

Sometimes I find myself teetering on the edge of depression because of an unsettlingly familiar schedule. When day after day after day I wake up, go to work, come home, eat, clean, read, go to bed, then wake up and do the same thing all over again, eventually some inner demon comes out and I find myself all of a sudden doing something unexpected. Argument for Air

“California law requires this station to provide free air and water for automotive purposes to it’s customers who purchase motor vehicle fuel.”

This is what is supposed to be posted at all gas stations in the state.

As I pumped gas today I noticed that one of my tires was low. When finished, I drove over to the the air pump and went inside to collect a token for the machine.

“Odds are they’re out of tokens, just like the last 4 times I’ve tried to get a token from this place.” I thought
